Cisco 871 Router IOS
 

i have been trying to configure my cisco 871 router for about a month and i have tried to reconfigure it with several IPs and bridging it and someone told us that it might be the IOS but i do not know what to do with the IOS problem. from the router i can ping the next switch we are connected to and the server but i cannot reach the internet from the computer hooked to the 871 router. please put down any and all sugestions to help in this matter

What does this have to do with Linux? And that's not exactly a useful question... "it might be the IOS" ??? you've said nothing about what your problem is, provided no configs or anything that would be useful to help us help you... it's not like we can say add a line that says "no really, work properly" in the config.
