CIFS- Connecting to DFS root not implemented yet
Hi guys, in kernel 3.2.x ( supplied with ubuntu 12.04.1 ) my cifs mount works but in dmesg I see a " CIFS VFS: default security mechanism requested. The default security mechanism will be upgraded from ntlm to ntlmv2 in kernel release 3.3 ", however that works.
I just compiled kernel 3.6.2 and it seems same mount does not work anymore and comes back with error: cifs_mount failed w/returncode= -22, CIFS VFS: Connecting to DFS root not implemented yet ".
Any idea what is going on here, did I miss something from the kernel, my first hunch was " DFS feature support " but that did not work out, for convenience : File systems-> Network File Systems:
