Choosing Correct eth0 card

I have the following type card in my Aspire 1804WSMi Laptop:

Data Link Protocol Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g

In Red Hat 9.0 this card is not detected. What card should I choose when I try to add new ethernet card?

Do I have to install an older ethernet card?

First, check the HCL on this site and you will find quite a lot about what hardware will probably work for you.

Second, I have had very good luck with the 3com cards - specifically the 3c905 cards.
