changing samba configuration dynamically

hi
i m using samba 3 on my rhl 7.3 box. i m using samba for quite some time. is there any way tht the updations made in smb.conf take place dynamically. i mean everytime i increase max no. of connections to a share or add a new share i need to restart th smb service. this stops the service for other users. is there any way to get around this

thnx for help in advance
