changing my hostname in suse 9.3

I have SUSE 9.3 installed on my laptop. When I am hooked into the network at work, DHCP assigns a hostname to my computer. When not hooked-in, the hostname is "linux" which is apparently the default of Suse 9.3. This causes problems with some software licenses I have. Question is, how do I change my hostname (at boot time) , when not hooked into the network? Suse apparently doesn't use standard files such as /etc/hostname.

thanks.

See the
Code:

man hostname
pages. I believe you can change it with that command. Alternatively, you can change it in YaST.

Also, if you do not want your hostname to change when you get an IP (as a dhcp client), you can disable that in YaST as well.
