Changing from static IP to dynamic one

Hi

I've got one on my interface set with a static IP. What I want to do now, is to connect directly to my ADSL modem and get a dynamic one.
I can use those GUI tools but I'd prefer to know how to do it in command line.
Also what command is used to renew a dynamic IP?

Thanks

Have a good look at
Code:
/etc/rc.d/rc.inet1
:)

Instead of "using the GUI tools" you
can also
Code:
less /sbin/netconfig
to check out how/what Patrick does setting
up your network ...

HIH!

Cheers,
Tink
