change wlan1 back to wlan0

Hi all,
I am running fedora 14. I had to change my wifi adapter. The system now recognizes it as wlan1. How can I get the system to change it back to wlan0? i really don't want to change all my files - iptables etc. that reference wlan0.
Thanks for any help.
