Cant rup apt-get, synaptics, aptitude, Xchat and Gaim help!!

Hello,
Ive recently changed my modem from pppoe modem to router.
While using the pppoe I had no problems using apt-get, synaptics, aptitude, Xchat and Gaim
When I converted to a router though the browsers did not work, so Ive changed the IPv6 Alias file in /etc/modprobe.d/aliases then the browsers and skype worked.
but when trying to run apt-get, synaptics, aptitude, Xchat or Gaim, the connection seems to be extremely slow or non working at all.
Can anyone please help me???
could it be that the IPv6 is effecting it?
If not what can it be?
Im still a newbe at this so if u could be as detailed as possible it would really help!
Thank u! Smile

the outputs:
this is the output Im getting when trying to install something through synamptics:

Do you still have your dialup modem connected? You seem to be running 2 ips off the same network card. Try removing both ethernet interfaces, then set eth0 up again (without the dialup connected).
