Cant execute files over lan without downloading

i'm a suse user. I had 8.x before and all was good. I installed 9.0 this weekend and it seems great, except that when i browse my home network and try to run files (mp3, video) from my xp computer it has to download the file to my linix machine first.

Can someone tell me how to get it to execute right away?
