cant access my website hosted in my server
Hello,
I have set up a webserver. I have stored the files in /var/www/html/mydir directory. When i try to access using my static ip i get the apache test page. How to link to my website stored in the path above mentioned to my static ip.

Your answer is correct. I can access through that.. But there is a way to redirect static ip address to my directory where the files are stored... I dont know how... Two years back i did that but now i am not getting how to do it.

In the httpd.conf or such, change the DocumentRoot to /var/www/html/mydir

or move your content(s) one directory "up" from mydir ... ie, /var/www/html
then http://static.ip will work also without modification to the httpd.conf
