cant access internet on Mandrake 10.1
I am a newbie to Linux and decided try it out last night. I installed Madrake fine I cant seem to connect to the internet. I have the Abit NF7-Ultra motherboard with the nForce2 chipset and intergrated nForce Ethernet card. I have a cable internet connection running through a router that is connected to my pc and my roomates pc. When I boot into windows I can connect to the internet fine. On my linux HD, I have the internet connection configured to LAN and DCHP, I cant access internet with any of the web browsers, but if I type in the IP adress of my router I can access it, The DHCP table shows my roomates PC and mine but the IP address of my PC is the same as the Gateway of my router, 192.168.9.25. I cant figure out how to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
