cannot share printer from linux to windows

I am using Linux fedora core 4, using samba. I have shared files that are working just fine. I see the printer in windows and it says connected. when I go to print I get print failed. A call failed.
I checked into the logs and I am getting permission denied on the /var/spool/samba/ directory. The directory is empty though.

[root@TOOL ~]# ls -l /var/spool/samba
total 0

[printers]
comment = All Printers
path = /var/spool/samba
printer admin = gary
read only = No
guest ok = Yes
printable = Yes
use client driver = Yes
browseable = No
[root@TOOL log]#

In the smb.conf file I have:

Printer = cups

Cups = raw

# You may wish to use password encryption. Please read
# ENCRYPTION.txt, Win95.txt and WinNT.txt in the Samba documentation.
# Do not enable this option unless you have read those documents
; encrypt passwords = yes
smb passwd file = /etc/samba/smbpasswd

It does say when I install the Linux printer that the printer does not have the correct driver installed however it does. And it prints locally.

Any help would be great

Regards

what are the permissions on /var/spool/samba?

try chmod o+w /var/spool/samba and check if you can print

I have allready changed the directory permissions:
chmod 755 however I have just tried it chmod o+w and still nothing.

I have this printer setup as a locally attached printer. I tried setting it up as a smb printer but that turned out to be if the printer were on another print server on my network.

If I select propertys on the Linux printer from my windows machine I notice that I do not have any rights to make modifications on the ports tab. No printer ports are checked. Its as if I have the printer installed on my windows machine without a printer port. I know that when I select the propertys on my other windows printer which I share out to everyone, it shows me that a port is being used and I can make changes.

Regards
