Cannot resolve ip address

It seems that my internet doesn't resolve the web address, but only can read IP address, how do I correct this to accept names instead of numbers(IP Address) to look at web sites

You have to put a DNS nameserver in the file /etc/resolv.conf. If you have a router, sometimes you can put the router's IP address as a DNS server...
