cannot receive data larger than several tens KB, fedora core 2

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie here and seeking for your help. I am running fedora core 2 on my laptop and my office network is setup through a 10M hub to a private network, and a virtual IP address is obtained by DHCP. It bothers me so badly that any connection stops after I get several tens of KB data (ftp, http browsing, etc), which means i have to reconnect many times to read my emails from yahoo, and downloading is almost mission impossible.

I have another Debian desktop connected to the same hub and it runs perfectly, and my laptop also runs well under windows XP. It also runs well (fedora) when I take it home where I setup a private network.

I heard about some bad news on the IPV6 and disabled the IPV6 for my fedora. Doesnt work either.

Thank you very much for saving me.

ps. It also runs well when I connect to other computers in the same private network.
