Cannot get asuscom isdn card recognized

I am helping someone to install an asuscom isdn card. However when the hisax module loads it only says

Quote:
HiSax: Linux Driver for passive ISDN cards
HiSax: Version 3.5 (module)
HiSax: Layer1 Revision 2.46.2.5
HiSax: Layer2 Revision 2.30.2.4
HiSax: TeiMgr Revision 2.20.2.3
HiSax: Layer3 Revision 2.22.2.3
HiSax: LinkLayer Revision 2.59.2.4
As you can see, there is no mention of it discovering the card anywhere. A lspci -v gives us

Quote:
0000:06:02.0 Network controller: Asustek Computer, Inc. ISDNLink P-IN100-ST-D (rev 02)
Subsystem: Dynalink: Unknown device 1704
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 16, IRQ 185
I/O ports at bc00 [size=8]
Memory at ff9ffc00 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=256]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 1
However, this is not the only item on IRQ 185

Subsystem: Intel Corp.: Unknown device 474e
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 0, IRQ 185
I/O ports at <unassigned>
I/O ports at <unassigned>

I/O ports at ffa0 [size=16]

0000:00:1d.2 USB Controller: Intel Corp. 82801FB/FBM/FR/FW/FRW (ICH6 Family) USB UHCI #3 (rev 03) (prog-if 00 [UHCI])
Subsystem: Intel Corp.: Unknown device 474e
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 0, IRQ 185
I/O ports at d400 [size=32]
I tried moving the card but it is still on an IRQ (like 193) with other motherboard componets.

The hisax module is set to do type=35 (and yes it is the correct type for the chip so that is not the problem). I just cannot get linux to see the card.
(He is using debian sarge and the default kernel that is installed which does support isdn).
