can you share internet through a computer like a Mac?

Is it possible to share internet through a linux operating system such as Slackware?

I know you can "share" internet through a Mac, but is it possible to do in Linux?

thanks. Matt

This is possible.
You could set up a proxy server using socks or write your iptables to forward stuff around theres a load of tutorials if you Google a bit.

You will need 2 network cards (one to connect to the net one to the other machine).

are you intending to have the linux machine as just a router or do you just want to share your net connection between the 2 separate pc's if you are looking for just a router there are specialised distros out there some will run straight off a floppy.
