Unhappy can not send mail using sbc dsl


i have fc2 with a netopia router. sbc is my dsl isp. I can activate my etho device and surf the web, recieving mail is no problem, but sending mail (to myself does not work). sbc told me that port 25 is unblocked. Any ideas anyone??

How are you sending mail? Have you set up a mail server and are using Thunderbird? Are you using the mail command with any specific options? Just trying to grab some more info here.

sbc and send mail

i am using ximian evolution. When I use sendmail, the mail is sent but never comesback. when I use SMTP it stops and has to be canceled.
