Question Can Not Get POP3d to work correctly

Anyone know. about the following issue...

I'm trying to setup the follwing:

I have a domain (say...mydomain.com) that I have already setup with a MX record pointing to my ip address. I've set up sendmail (I think correctly) where I can log on to say (myuser) and send a mail correctly...the end results correctly from myuser@mydomain.com. I even can send an email to myuser@mydomain.com. I can see the email when using the command 'mail' or even pine, So I assume that all of my email is being routed to /var/mail/myuser.

No the tricky part...I have cyrus which I start the daemon using /etc/init.d/cyrus start, which has incorporated pop/imap together. I can even telnet into that port and it looks like it's working ok.

The problem is it looks like I can log in through pop but I can't pull down any of the emails that are in /var/mail/myuser.

Any ideas??

Unless you have changed sendmail settings, your mail will be in /var/spool/mail directory
It only goes to your user directories after it has been read...

Ok!

I think I've gotten the POP part of it correct. I think it was the pop daemon that was set incorrectly in inetd.conf. Now I need to get IMAP working correctly...I can correctly see all of my folders except my INBOX does not see new mail. Any ideas?

I really appreciate your help!

Best Regards,

Jason
