Can I put linux os into the windows ris ???


Hi:
I was using win ris to deploy os to workstations for serval yrs, and i am wondering if i can put the linux os to the win ris?

If yes, are there any guideline because windows seems like using winpe now for the RIS?

What are "win ris"and "winpe"?

Simple answer? No. Windows remote install system will only work with Windows, hence the name. I guess if you want to roll linux out onto a number of systems you could set one up manually and ghost the drive to the other pcs, changing the hostname and other settings as needed...
