Can anyone tell me how to connect any IMAP server to sendmail ..??

Is any modification to the configuration file of sendmail required...??
If yes could u please tell me some sample configuration for cyrus/courier..??

IMAP merely reads the mailbox files that sendmail produces.

It's a configure option for your IMAP programme to know where the files are and what format they are in.. Then to apply permissions to access them..
A default install will use sendmail mbox format in a user's home directory.
