Can anyone help me to set up a network using linux-9 server with windows clients?

hey,
I want to set up a network with linux-9 server and windows clients. All clients are winXP with service pac-2.I want the server to be domain controller and to give services like ftp, telnet, http to my network..
I installed redhat-9 on the server and tried to configure the server...but still is not working.
I don't have internet connection...I just want it as a work group....
I tried by changing the hub...still not working.
Could anyone help me...to configure the server..using the GUI..Im not good with linux commands........
thanks.

hey man, ok the first thing i would do is to get on the internet on that server so u know that the ethernet card runs on red hat. a command i would to to know if your ethernet card is good to go is "ifconfig all" in the console with out the "". after that try to get on the net. dont replace your router or switch couse thats just a waste of time. post what the output is on the command. ill be up late tonight so we can get it done tonight.

have fun

ooooops, the command is actually "ifconfig -a". you should see somthing like this

root@Mavrick:~# ifconfig -a
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:04:5A:54:CC:BB
inet addr:192.168.0.103 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST NOTRAILERS RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:720534 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:457080 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:196894554 (187.7 Mb) TX bytes:189537019 (180.7 Mb)
Interrupt:10 Base address:0x1000

lo Link encap:Local Loopback
inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)

now all u got to worry about is if u see the ETH0 on the left side.
