Can an one tell me the simple working method of Port Forwording


Hi i want to setup web server on my pc but my system is in LAN can any one help me!

My IP 172.16.7.130
My wan IP 203.101.77.11

for ip forwarding.. change the value in

/etc/sysctl.conf

net.ipv4.ip_forward to 1.

then do man iptables.

iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth1 -p TCP -dport http -j DNAT --to 172.16.7.130

where eth1 is ur wan ip.

but i don't have eth1 na
I had just 1 network card that is eth0

can u explain ur scenario.. how ru going to nat/ port forward with a single nic ????
