Can't use MS outlook through a linux router with IP masquerading

Dear all,

I am using a Linux with IP masquerading as a Internet gateway for my local LAN.

I have no problem in using HTTP in the workstations inside my lan, but when I use the MS Outlook in the workstations to receive mail inside my lan, it fails with the message "POP3 server is not responding". So I would like to know did I miss some modules in IP masquerading or this problem is not relate to IP masquerading?

POP3 (110) and SMTP (25) use different socket ports then http (80). search this forum, there is lots of info on this. you may need to add firewall rules to allow this

But I have already checked the rules in all the chains that they are all default "ACCEPT"
