Can't seem to figure out how to print to a network printer
I have a desktop machine running Debian Sarge with an HP DeskJet 932C connected to a USB port. This is networked with ethernet. I also have a laptop running Linspire 5.0 with a wireless card. I can't seem to figure out how to add the Deskjet as a network printer and have it work. I managed to install it before I think, but it would just say "Processing..." and not do anything. So how is this done?

Are you using Cups? If yes, you shoudl be able to go to the Cups Admin tool and add the printer. The HP 932C is fully supported according to LinuxPrinting.org. It also lists the driver to use if in dought.
You can open the admin tool on your favorite browser with http://localhost:631
Select 'Do Admin Tasks' and add printer. ( This is from your Linspire laptop ) I'm assuming you can print on your desktop machine, with Cups.

Yeah I'm using CUPS and can print from my desktop, but the strange thing is that when I hit Restart Print Server, it says can't find a running CUPS server.
When I go to add the printer on the laptop, I would select Remote CUPS Printer or whatever that option is, right?

That is correct.
Not sure why you are having problems restarting Cups, or why you restarted it in the first place. If you can print locally, you should not need to restart it.
