Unhappy Can't see or access XP Pro machine with shared files in MDK 9.2

Hello folks I am having trouble with Mandrake 9.2 and Windows XP Pro. In Mandrake I can see all my Windows 2000 machines but I can't see a machine running XP which is sharing files. In XP I can see all my Windows 2000 machines as well. This XP Pro box is sharing files but I can't see it or gain access to those files via MDK's control panel. Any suggestions as to what might be happening ? I am pretty new to XP Pro but I have good experience with Windows 2000 and Linux. Did MS change something so it would be hard for XP to be picked up and show up on Linux machines ?
