Can't see DNS changes in the network

I registered a domain, and after a week, it still said Cannot Find Server on one computer, but the linux computer could access it fine. My network is setup so my Cable runs into the Linux computer running Mandrake 9.1, then I have a cable running into a Windows 98SE computer. Everytime a site changes a DNS, I have to reboot my Linux computer so the site can be seen on my windows. Is there any other way so I wouldn't have to reboot it?

Can you see your domain at the servers of the organisation with whom you registered your domain.

Yeah, I can see my domain everywhere, except the windows computer. After I rebooted Linux, the domain worked fine, and I can see everything. Only thing is, I don't like having to reboot the computer so I can see the DNS changes.

what does winipcfg have to say on your Win98 PC?

Also, does your Win98 PC get its IP Address from the Mandrake Server?

Instead of rebooting the linux box, you should try just rebooting the nameserver on it. Not entirely sure how you'd do that on Mandrake, but I bet there is some fancy GUI tool :) . On Red Hat you'd type "service named restart" or "rndc reload" depending on what version you are running...
