Question Can't reach Windows network

I can reach my Linux machine from Windows PCs, but cannot reach any Windows PCs from Linux.

I am using Fedora 33 with an IP of 192.168.1.177.
My Windows 10 laptop has an IP of 192.168.1.2 and a shared folder with permissions set to "everyone."

SELinux is set to "Permissive."

It pings just fine but

I am using Konqueror as the network browser and when I tell it to go to //192.168.1.2 I get:
Details of the Request:

URL: file://192.168.1.2
Protocol: file
Date and Time: Monday, October 25, 2021 4:19:00 PM EDT
Additional Information: //192.168.1.2
Description:

The specified file or folder does not exist.

It does indeed exist and can be reached by Windows connected to the same router.

Can't reach Windows network

You need to tell it you're browsing a Windows share. Put smb:// in front of the IP address.
