LinuxQuestions.org - can't login POP3 server

can't login POP3 server

environment:
FC3+Posrfix 2.1.5+ cyrus-imapd2.2.6

SMTP and Cyrus-imapd were running,I can telnet into 25 and 110.

Issue:
When using MS outlook login POP3server it required me enter ID and Password. Then I enter the correct ID and Password. But it didn't appearing
untill click "Cancel".Then tell me:-ERR [AUTH] Invalid login

I don't konwn how to do now. have any expert answer me?

And you've tried both the username and or username@domain.com? And connecting, you can authenticate yourself with your username and password that is setup on the mail server?

yes ,I attempted to use "root" and "root@domain.com" login,but faild.
