I can't seem to use a browser to go http://localhost/ or 127.0.0.1 either. I am trying to use CUPS but cant get there. The actual address I'm trying is http://localhost:631 Everything works on the network otherwise. Why can't I get there?
Yes, started and restarted CUPS.
In my host file i had ::1 localhost.localdomain localhost
instead of 127.0.0.1 . I changed it , but still not working yet.
EDIT: Correction, just restarted CUPS AGAIN and its working
