Can't FTP from NT to Redhat 7.1

Hi all,

I have just configured a mini network at home. A linux Rh7.1 and NT 4.0. I can ping from NT to Linux and linux to NT. But, I can't FTP or Telnet into the linux box from NT4.0. I have enable the wu-ftpd in the xinetd.d/wu-ftpd and xinetd.d/telnet and restarted the xinetd. After I did that, I can ftp to the localhost on the linux box and also can telnet into the localhost from the linux box. Just can't do it from NT4.0. Am I missing some setup on the NTbox? Can someone help me?

this could be a firewall problem. Did you turn on firewalls when you installed

I think I did. How do I check if it is installed and to disable the setting. Thanks

Thanks Scotty. It was a firewall problem. I went in and enable FTP and Telent and everything seem to work alright now.
