Can't find Windows XP shared folders

I can't access my Windows XP shared folders in Mandrake 8.2. How can I access them?

I have four systems on my home network. One has Mandrake 8.2, one Windows 98SE, one Windows XP Home and Windows ME dual boot, and the other Windows XP Pro.

In Mount Points in the Mandrake Control Center all four systems show up when I search for servers. But only the Windows 98SE system and Linux system show their shared folders. LinNeighborhood shows the same thing. When I boot the Windows XP Home system into Windows ME instead, then the Windows ME shared folders show up as well. I am able to see my shared Linux folder from Windows XP and transfer files to it. But what needs to be done to make the Windows XP shared folders accessible by Linux?

The firewall is disabled on both Windows XP systems. Samba 2.2.3a is installed on the Mandrake system. I tried the registry patch on the Windows XP Home system, but it didn't help.

Thanks for your help.

EDIT: ****Found a solution****

Using LinNeighborhood I used the "scan as user" option to find shared folders on my Windows XP machines. Double clicking on the Windows 98SE machine was sufficient to bring up shared folders, but not for the Windows XP machines.
