Can't find network

Hello All: I have a really perplexing problem that I need all of you to help me with.I have a laptop running Mandrake 9.1 and I "had" it networked to two other linux machines at my home through a linksys router and was able to share files with my main computer.Last week I loaded Mandrake 10 on this laptop and had a lot of errors that I didn't try to fix so I removed Mandrake 10 and went back to 9.1. Now the laptop cant see my main computer files "but" I can use the network printer attached to Comp#1. I have loaded NFS, but when I go to mandrake control center and click on nfs mount points and click on "search servers" , Where I used to see address of Comp #1 now there is nothing.Any help is greatly appreciated,Thanks in advance.
