Can't figure out how to set up NAT/iptables is confusing
I have a home computer running RHEL 4 AS. I'm trying to set it up as a dial-up router for my house. I've got a working internet connection to it. I'm now trying to set up NAT. My modem is on /dev/ttyS0. They internet interface is ppp0. My internal network connection is eth0. I've got a DHCP server running and I know I've got the right IP addresses and such going out on my network. My biggest issue is setting up the iptables for this. I've read the man pages multiple times and have read through a couple "tutorials." Is there anyone that can just give me a straight walk through or translate what the iptables keywords and stuff are to simple plain English?
