For many days I have been trying to find a driver for my wireless card, and I finally found one in the Mandriva distro I installed today. I know it is the correct driver, but I still cannot connect to the internet, and I'm not really sure what to do. What should my configuration be?
Nic = Xircom 32-bit Cardbus ethernet 10/100 + modem 56 (connects through ethernet or modem)
Model = CDEM56G-100
Revision = 3
Not sure what you mean about the module, unless it is xircom_cb.
Distro = Mandriva
Kernel = 2.6
Alright, I have switched back to Fedora Core 4, and now if I configure the router to have a static IP it will say that my network is configured. However, I still cannot connect to the internet. I really don't think it is on account of the distro, because I have tried three different distros and when I configure it to have a static IP they all say that the network is configured but will not connect.
