I have no idea how it happened but I can't connect to my network anymore. I have a speedtouch router and it's always worked for me without any problems. Now, without doing anything (I think) I can't connect at all anymore. I wasn't building a kernel, or installing anything or messing around with any settings, I'm pretty sure, but all of the sudden my ethernet card (built into the motherboard) is not working.
Note that when I boot into Windows XP it works like a charm without any problems at all. I'm currently using Debian Lenny kernel 2.6.22.8.
Does anyone have any ideas of what went wrong? Or where I can start looking for the problem? Because I'm completely clueless as to where to start looking or what information to provide. All I know is that when I run dhclient it tells me that no DHCPOFFERS were received.
Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if someone more experienced than me could take the time to try and point me in the right direction. Or any direction for that matter.
