can't access port 9044
hi,
This is on Solaris, but I guess it's applied in Linux as well.
We have 2 servers (A and B)in the same network (so no firewall access needs to be addressed), they run Solaris 10 sparc.
We need to have A access port 9044 of B. But it's not working.
A's IP info:
inet 10.134.212.149 netmask ffffffc0 broadcast 10.134.212.191
B's IP info:
inet 10.134.212.141 netmask ff000000 broadcast 10.255.255.255
Seems port 9044 is open in B:
# netstat -an | grep 9044
*.9044 *.* 0 0 49152 0 LISTEN
but from A:
$ telnet 10.134.212.141 9044
Trying 10.134.212.141...
Any help please?
thanks a lot!
