can't access external server from local network

I have a server running RH 9. It is connected to a hub along with a Linksys router that is connected to the same hub. They each have different assigned IP addresses. I am able to access the site from any computer that is not in the local network. When I do try and access it from within the local network I just get a "page cannot be displayed" error. I have asked some friends to check it out, they all said it worked fine. I have even taken one of my computers off of the local network and assigned it a separate IP address and I was able to access it.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks,

How are you trying to access this server from within the local network?

Since I use Mandrake 9.1 for my "router" and never used a router box, I'm just guessing. Does the LinkSys box have a gateway IP you need to enter into your lan pcs?

Nevermind, I fixed the problem quite a while ago, just haven't been to LQ in a while. The problem was the router. Some advice..don't buy Liksys. I have bought 5 devices from them previously and only 1 worked. I have moved on to Netgear, they are on the opposite end of the field...
