can't acces DNS/samba in 100mbps, only in 10mbps
Hi,
I have quite a weird situation here.
We mounted a server which manages our file server need with samba, does DNS, does squid, and domain control.
it works very good, BUT, only if we set our pc's to work under 10 MBps, if we set them to 100 MBps, the network neighborhood times out and only shows the actual machine, not the rest of them.
Does any one knows what kind of problem am I facing here? and how to proceed to trobleshoot-debug it?
We have changed switches, and tested with a computer connected to the actual same switch (new DLink) as the samba server, just in case it was a network problem.
tested with many computers with the same result,
the connection between the NIC and the switch actually goes 100MBps, just no network browsing.
any clue will be gratly appreciated
thanks
