Burn a cd on a Windows cd burner

I couldn't decide if this was a Networking of Hardware question. I have a Windows box with a CD burner and a Linux box. I'm wondering if there is any way, with Samba or another solution, to share the Windows cd burner with Linux so that it can burn cd's to it directly? You may ask why I don't just do it in Windows? Well, just humor me

Is there a way? Thanks.

hi there

this is just a wild guess

share ur Cd-R on windows with all permissions

and then from the linux box u can mount that drive
and save some files in that mounted directory

after that if u are using winxp u can get option of "there are some files on the CD-R" in windows and there is an option of write these files to CD and then try that
