BT Voyager 100 modem with Linux | The Bad Answer

Hey, after searching a couple of days for drivers and things for Mandrake linux 9.2 , i did find some drivers but were supported for the new version of the BT Broadband Voyager Modem (100).

So i phoned the techincal desk, and asked to speak with a "higher authority", 3 mins later after hold a man came on.

The man explained that he knew there was many different GUI's (Generated User Interfaces's) and so that is why they couldnt program one basic linux driver for the modem. He also mencioned something about the Linux Kernel, but i didnt listen much because of the disspointment.

Also, for the people who downloaded the FlashTux Driver for the "BT Voyager" modem on linux, it is not compatible with the 100 version.

Hopefully this should help alot of people. The only thing you can do for now is buy another ADSL modem that is compatible with linux and put the Voyager 100 aside until BT can be assed.
