You probably already have it or a more recent iteration of it built into your wifi adapter. Normally, problems with wifi come down to attenuation or channel crowding.
What's the environment like where you're having the problem? A lot of devices/structural impediments for the signal/multiple wireless networks in close proximity to each other?
