browsing through a proxy


I am just keen to know how i could brose througha proxy the restricted sites also...
just an interest to hack...

In the browser's connection settings dialog, you can tell it to use a proxy server (and give it's address) or tell it to access the internet directly, therefore bypassing the proxy

i mean in the proxy, if u have set not to access yahoo.com it cannot naa... if i want to access....?

And one more thing is that If I will not set the proxy, the browser will never work..

If the browser won't work without the proxy, it may be because the gateway runs a firewall on port 80, and the only way to access the www is through the proxy.
I see no way you could bypass this

There is some windows applications i know it would bypass

some public proxy server
