Broadband in fedora 7??
 
I have fedora core 7 with me..could anyone tell me howto setup broad band connection..i hav got th bsnl connection...thanx in advance

conventionally you just plug in the ethernet port and it works. there is nothing special about a standard ADSL connection. if this isn't working you need to provide a lot more useful information, connection type, hardware, authentication mechanism (if there is one)...

sorry...i dont know much about hardware...i have connected external ADSL modem...and have got a username and password for getting connected to net... i had no problems in getting connected for fc4..any more information???

Routers that handle ADSL connections are normally easier, these modems are slightly different.

Have you tried what you did for FC4? Shouldn't have changed much. Any error messages from that process? What sort of ADSL modem do you have?
