Bridging two DSL connections together.

The max DSL speed I can get in the house is 4.5 Mbps/s. I have two phone lines coming into the house. What do I need to bridge two DSL connections together so I get, in theory 9 Mbps/s. (I do realize that any solution to bridge connections would add over head)

Now, for the record, the reason. Rogers.com has finally stepped over the line. They gave unlimited photo upload which is actually limited to 20G (as I hit the limit). They have a free e-mail account I can't access. They throttle bit-torrents so that rather than taking 30 minutes to download the new fedora, it will take 300 days. They also have now blocked all e-mail type traffic to and from my server in BC. For all this "better service", as they call it, they raised the price to $56 a month.

I was willing to deal with this as the line speed was 8-10 Mbps/s for web and VPN type traffic (most of the time). As of April 3rd. They are not reducing their GB allowance to provide "better service" and charging an extra $25 for the reduction.

Making that a total of $81 per month to get 10Mbps dl/1Mbps ul. acanac.ca is advertising 33.95 (18.95 for a year contract). $68 a month for two DSL line.

So as asked above. How and what do I need to bridge two dsl lines to make them act as close to one line as possible?

some firewall distro's do cater for dual red scenarios like that, i think there are a few good addons for ipcop and pfsense in that area, but for the nuts and bolts of it, check out chapter 4 of lartc.org which should cover the basics of it. note that each stream will need to use a single ADSL line but you can make the outbound connection pick at random to spread it around with equal metric routes.
