Blocking p2p to the users on my lan

I have one huge problem.

I have my pc acting as router to other pcs internet.
Internet -> My PC(Suse 9.3) -> Switch -> 8 other users on LAN

All internet and everything works sweet. (All other users using XP workstations). But now they are using p2p stuff. So i want to block such activities already from my Suse 9.3. So they cant use p2p stuff. How could i do that ? Please give me some examples i am pretty desperate by now. All Upload is full all the time and isp i only have 4mbit/0,5mbit and if that 0,5mbit is full download those 4mbit dies with it (lame ISP, but only one)

HELP!!

you could try blocking standard P2P ports (cheap solution).
you could try www.ipp2p.org, it detects P2P by looking at package contents (port independent solution).

Installed that ipp2p and now i cant get the rules to ipchains ... ipp2p is installed fine ...

iptables -A FORWARD -m ipp2p --bit -j DROP
iptables: No chain/target/match by that name

????

Chain FORWARD (policy DROP)
.
.
.
.
etc.

get this by iptables -L so there is FORWARD chain... so whats wrong ??

ipp2p is not (correctly) installed. You need both the kernel module (so that IPP2P can do it's work with the network packets) as well as the iptables module (so that iptables understands how to talk to the kernel about ipp2p).
