Blocking Chat programs

I am using IPChains for my Redhat 7 server.

What I intend to do is stop 1 user from accessing the following chat programs from 11:00pm to 12:00am.

1. Mirc
2. ICQ
3. MSN

I know I should be using Cron but i dont know the port numbers for any of the chat programs listed above.

Can anyone help me

Cheers

Run those programs on a windowz machine and then go to command line and type netstat or netstat -a(n) and it should tell you which ports it uses to connect server.

Thanks for the reply

I typed the netstat -a command in while the chat programs were on.

But now i need to know the ipchains command for blocking the ports and which ports to block (cant understand the output of netstat very well, Newbie) I think the ports or 1863, 6669 and 5190.

My setup is :-

Eth0 = LAN
Eth1 = Cable modem
kernal 2.2.18
Redhat 7

Its just 1 user with the IP 192.168.0.3 i want to block at certain times.

Cheers
