BIND forward AD zones to DC

I'm trying to get BIND to forward zones _tcp,_udp,_sites,_msdcs to a domain controller.

I have the forwarding set like this.

zone "" {
type forward;
forward only;
check-names ignore;
forwarders {;;

However, this doesn't seem to be working. is there any way to test this?

Also is it possible to restrict the query of these zones to specific subnets?
