Bind can't see the computer it's on

Hi

My network at home is an XP box (computer name saif), which is the gateway to the internet. And a Red Hat 9 box (computer name usman.redsun.com), which has apache and bind running.

On the Red Hat box, when I run the host command with the computer name or the the ip address of the Red Hat box, I get the correct answer.

I have attempted to do the same (run apache and bind) on a Red Hat box at work, which is connected to a windows network running 3 windows 2003 servers.

The Problem

At work when I run the host command on the Red Hat box (computer name stu.cc.com, ip address 192.168.0.100), it gives the correct answers, except it cannot see itself ie
if I use host stu.cc.com or host 192.168.0.100 it gives the error "host not found... 3NXDOMAIN"

I just cannot seem to make it work. I have even tried copying the scripts from my home RH box to the work RH box, that does'nt work. Off course I changed the work computer name to usman.redsun.com.

Can anyone please help?
