Open the file /etc/ypserv.conf

Look for the lines below and un-comment them

* : passwd.byname : port : yes
* : passwd.byuid : port : yes

also if you could go with this document and see if its usefull

JIIPPPIIIIIEEEE! I solved the problem.

The entrys in my Makefile
Code:
all: group passwd shadow netgroup
and
Code:
MERGE_PASSWD=true
seem to conflict. After removing passwd from all everything is working fine again.
