best way to set this ftp up?

I'm using the latest debian.

I have about 30 user accounts on my server. Everyone is in a group called "employees" and managers are in a group called "partners"

There are two samba shares on the server. /data/public and /data/partners

managers have access to both of them, and employees have acess to just the public folder.

I need to define FTP access to these folders. I would LIKE the home directory for managers to be /data/public with full access and /data/public for everyone else with read/write access.

What is the most appropriate FTP daemon available for this?

any ftp daemon would do but this is related with adding user and where u define the user path , because ftp login is following system user login and go to the place (directory) where u define for that user to go after login

btw, if may i ask . why need ftp if just need to work on LAN , the web browser is good enought to copy and paste file in the LAN , check if your browser support smb://workgroup
